Together since 2012, Louisiana’s first and longest running pirate band, the Whiskey Bay Rovers perform a mix of sea chanteys, drinking songs, Celtic ballads, jokes and puns of dubious quality, and other assorted nautical nonsense. Utilizing various traditional folk instruments and multi-part vocal harmonies, the Rovers have appeared at events across Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas doing their part to keep traditional songs of the sea alive for modern audiences.
